What types of cars do you use?

Our training vehicles are Dual controlled late model vehicles. We use only marked cars in order to enhance student’s safety during the driving lessons. Our exemplary safety record has surpassed all competition and is well above the minimum established by the state of California. Our vehicles are routinely inspected and repaired by certified mechanics.

Our behind the wheel drivers training instructors are full time DMV licensed experienced professionals.. Our instructors are fully screened and their backgrounds checked through department of justice and the F.B.I. Through continuous education and training our instructors are highly qualified to observe, teach and correct the student drivers.

Is your behind the wheel drivers training private?

Yes, the student will drive unaccompanied by another student. The lessons are provided on a one-on-one basis. Depending on the time of the lesson scheduled, the student will have an opportunity to request either morning or evening schedules, we strongly recommend that at least one lesson be scheduled during night time to prepare students for parental practice at any given time. Remember that DMV requires fifty hours of parental practice, which ten hours must be done at night.

What is covered during the behind the wheel training phase of your program?

During the behind the wheel drivers training phase the students are trained on an individual one on one basis. The driver is instructed in vehicle control basics and also applications of defensive driving fundamentals in real driving environment. Our instructors will teach the student drivers in all categories of roads including freeway driving, driving in city traffic and residential area driving. On the last day of this training our instructor will administer a mock DMV test using the same criteria of scoring as the state uses in its testing. This will greatly improve the chance of passing on your final drive test.

First Years Drivers — How can Parents help?

The high injury and fatality rates during the first five years of driving demonstrate why varied, long-term training is required. Parents can help their children become safer drivers by ensuring that new drivers build skill and confidence as they develop good driving habits during supervised practice sessions. Parents, new drivers and driver education instructors working together as a team can develop driving behaviors that will reduce motor vehicle crashes. Parents and guardians can play a significant role in developing safe driving habits in the teenage population. Share your hands-on experience as well as your feelings about driving under the influence of alcohol and other drugs, peer pressure, cultural values, safety restraints, emotional control and social responsibilities. For driver training to be effective, parents and teenagers must communicate with each other. A parent-teen agreement or contract on vehicle use is an excellent way to ensure safe performance, economical operation and responsible behavior.
